Clock Tower - where does it belong?

streetsblog.net

The clock tower was installed in 1998 with great effort to restore the clock by the New Hampshire Historical Society.

B03-13 Eagle Square Gateway Arch Refinishing Project was cancelled

Eagle Square bricks need replacement and the gateway arch needs to be refinished. The cost estimates from the B03-13 bids were on the order of $60,000 to $86,000 depending on alternatives. The work would include either wet or dry abrasive  blasting while containing the debris and not exceeding noise limits.

Instead of moving the clock tower, what if instead the entry arch was removed, refinished off site, and then reinstalled or installed at Phoenix Avenue. There are many trips for deliveries down Phoenix now. If instead of moving the clock, the arch was there with bollards blocking the road, if it turns out we need delivery truck access one way down Phoenix Ave, the bollards could be removed. With the clock tower there, it's not an option.

Should the clock tower or the gateway arch stay or be relocated?

Or be moved to grace modern buildings with it's hourly chime in G?
